Add a "Donate" button to the campaign website in just minutes - no programming expertise required. * Reduce risk. Donors make contributions on PayPal's secure pages, and PayPal stores all sensitive payment data - no need to worry about complying with industry-mandated security standards. * Accept all types of donations. Make it easy to donate by accepting PayPal payments, bank transfers, e-checks, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Get started 1. Sign up for a PayPal business account 1. Select Website Payments Standard as the PayPal product type 2. Choose Nonprofit as the business type 3. Select Political as the subcategory 2. To confirm that your political campaign account is a nonprofit, just submit a tax letter from the IRS and a bank statement or voided check in the name of the organization, along with your organization's PayPal email account and contact details, to compliance@paypal.com. 3.
